We all want to be remembered... That kind of goes without saying.

It feels shitty when somebody forgets our name, or even that they've met us before, doesn't it? So how do we stop this? How do we cement ourselves (and our brands) into people's minds?

Well, there's approaching 7.5 billion of us now... Each making noise, craving attention and wrapped up in self-interest, so getting anyone to stop and pay attention is getting trickier by the day.

It is possible, though.

We remember people when they're authentic. Especially when they take an interest in what we're saying, rather than trying to take everything back to them and their story.

We remember brands who provide a human experience. When they solve a problem or provide unexpected value.

We notice people and brands who notice us.

To stand out, you must see how you can help people get to where they want to be in life. We're all headed somewhere, helping people on THEIR journey builds strong relationships.

You can do this by sharing their ideas, promoting their content, and connecting them with interesting people who you know.

Be familiar and be helpful.

Make it YOUR business to help other people's businesses.

They won't just remember you, they'll love you.

The effect you have on others is the most valuable currency there is.

How will you serve the world?

What do THEY need that YOUR talent can provide?

That’s all you have to figure out.
