One book club isn't enough; so I've decided to bring the franchise over to Bolton too.
Without further ado, I'm proud to announce the launch of the Bolton Business Book Club!
The idea is that people from 'in and around' Bolton can meet up once a month to discuss a book themed around business or personal development.
This will be a great opportunity to network with other local business people and discuss some powerful ideas that can help to take your career to the next level. (The group is of course open to anyone who has read the book... You don't necessarily have to be 'in business').
The first meeting will be at the stunning Curley's Fishery Cafe in Horwich on Thursday April 14th at 6:30pm.
There's plenty of parking and amazingly fresh fish and chips will be available for those who don't have chance to eat beforehand.
For the first book, we'll be discussing the classic 'Influence' by Robert Cialdini.
This book is a huge best seller, and should be read by anyone who ever needs to bring others round to their way of thinking.
Cialdini digs deep into the psychology of why people say 'yes', and gives practical advice and takeaways for you to apply in your life.
Influence is over 30 years old, but the ideas are still as relevant today as they were in 1984.
So, if you're close to Bolton and fancy joining us, pick up a copy of the book here and then head over to our Meetup page to book yourself in... It's totally free but I'd bring some fish and chip money with you just in case!
