A static target is a sitting duck.

It will be picked off by the next new startup, just around the corner.

If you're not pushing forwards, you're slipping backwards.

I think of starting and building a business as being a bit like a strongman trying to drag a train.

Getting the bugger moving is the hardest part, by a country mile.

Every step forward takes almost everything you've got.

But eventually, just when you're about to give up, things start to get a little easier.

It feels like you're starting to build up some momentum, but it still takes everything out of you.

The challenge now is to keep going. Because unfortunately, in business, there's rarely a finsh line.

Or at least for most of us, it's nowhere near in sight.
