In a noisy world, filled with shitty, meaningless logos and bland marketing messages, how can YOU stand out from the crowd? How do you make people notice you, and then pay attention to what you've got to say?

It's not easy, but this is what I focus on.

My goal is to make a logo that will speak to your customer on an emotional level.

It should feel 'human', because ultimately, it will be a real-life person who makes the decision to buy from you, or one of your competitors.

Your customer has feelings, instincts and emotions that guide them when they make any buying decision. The way you package and present what you sell dictates how people perceive it. It influences how they feel about it, and more importantly, how much they're willing to pay you for it.

HOPE AND FEAR


Too many businesses ignore the hopes and fears of the people they're trying to serve. Probably because they don't realise what truly moves people to buy.

Your customer is either searching for a way to take away their problems, or propel them towards their goals. Speak to them using this 'frame' and you'll connect on a deeper level. They'll see you as the solution to their problems, not something they can decide to live without.

Your brand must align with the people who need it. It should speak their language, and echo their journey.

And it must feel 'real'. You should be proud to 'wear' and represent what you are selling. If it doesn't represent how YOU can help your customer, in a clear and concise way, then it will be forgotten and ignored.

Tell your customer a great story, and they'll know that you understand what they need. You'll be speaking to them on an emotional level. You'll twitch their buying triggers, and hold their attention for longer.

And attention leads to sales. If you don't know it's there, you can't buy it.
